Neil Feigeles was born in Brooklyn New York on July 30th 1959. At a very early age he became interested in art when he first discovered comic books. In Junior High School, Neil met one of his closest and dearest friends, Tony Williams. Together they spent much of their time drawing. Discovering what eventually became both their chosen professions. Working in the creative arts.

First by attending The High School of Art & Design from 1974-1977. Where he strived to become the #1 comic book illustrator in the world. Then by attending The School of Visual arts in Manhattan for college.

At SVA, Neil was first introduced to the joys of oil painting by the famed photo-realistic painter Don Eddy. It was then that he decided to become an illustrator. While still in colllege, Neil had the pleasure of taking Will Eisner’s comic book class. Where he edited the annual Gallery magazine Which featured some of todays top comic book talentswhich included Mike Carlin from DC Comics.

Since graduating from SVA in 1981, Neil has attempted to continue his growth as an illustrator, fine artist and portrait painter. In the twenty years since graduating, he’shad the pleasure of illustrating assignments for book covers, magazine articles, and film and video promotion.

After graduating from SVA, he had the honor to make the Society of Illustrators 24th Annual exhibition, the painting Looking out, He also featured this illustration on his first promomotional sample which was published in RSVP #7.

He also had the dream job of illustrating a promotional piece for ABC Television.The 1986 Academy Awards. Which featured all of the nominated pictures which included E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.

In 1986 Neil relocated to Los Angeles CA where he focused on film and movie promotion.Illustrating and designing assignments,including the promotional one-sheet for the film Open House . He also spent two years Art Directing the horoscope publication STARSCROLL.

In 1991 Neil moved back to his home in New York where he had the honor of becoming a member of The Society of Illustrators. At the Society, Neil had a one-person exhibit in 1996. And has been featured in several exhibitions. Including the "Our Own Show” exhibition which will be happening at the Society of Illustrators from October 3rd to October 27th. In 1993 with the help of two of his closest Friend's, Arnaldo Lopez and Tony Williams he conceived and launched a little publication called OFFWORLD. Check for future announcements about OFFWORLD....Please see its GALLERY for samples.

In 1996 Neil began his life as a gallery artist. Being featured in several exhibitions in Jersey City at The Cooper Gallery.

While striving to get better and to survive as a creative individual, I’ve also had the pleasure of working as a graphic designer. Spending most of my time in the magazine field as an art director in Editorial and Promotional material. Please see the graphics GALLERIES for samples.

And finally…Neil’s secret love. Acting. Always a fantasy of his. Neil decided a few years back to try his hand at it.

Last November he made his New York Stage debut playing Bob Crachet in A Christmas Carol. Once the plays run ended, he began appearing as Arnall in 'LINE'. Which is performed several nights a week at the Thirteenth Street Repertory Company on 13th Street in NYC.
